HaiChuan Robotics has launched a series of humanoid robots that integrate AI and precision mechanical technologies, featuring high degrees of freedom in movement and an intelligent interaction system. The product lineup includes models such as “XiaoChuan No. 1,” “XiaoHai No. 1,” and “DaHai No. 1,” which are suitable for diverse applications including industrial intelligent manufacturing, scientific research and education, live-streamed sales, and stage performances. Equipped with 3D vision, voice recognition, and autonomous navigation systems, these robots can perceive their environment and engage in human-robot interaction. The entire series adopts a lightweight structural design, with a maximum walking speed of 2 m/s and a single-arm payload capacity of 5 kg, enabling the robots to perform complex tasks and collaborate flexibly. By providing open API interfaces for secondary development, these robots represent an innovative solution for the fields of intelligent manufacturing and service industries.

The entire series is equipped with 28 to 45 degrees of freedom in its joints, featuring a combination of high-torque-density motors and harmonic reducers. The joint response speed reaches up to 120°/s. The gait algorithm supports stepless speed adjustment from 0.3 to 2.0 m/s, enabling complex movements such as climbing stairs, lateral movement, and balance recovery. The upper-limb design incorporates 6 degrees of freedom and bionic fingers, allowing for precise operations with an accuracy of 0.1 mm—tasks like writing, picking up eggs, and tightening screws. Special models are equipped with a force-feedback system that can adjust posture within 0.1 second in case of imbalance, achieving a fall-recovery success rate of 98%, significantly exceeding the industry average.

Multimodal Environmental Perception

Integrating 15 types of sensors—including 3D vision, LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, and inertial measurement units—we have built a 360° environmental perception network with no blind spots. The binocular depth camera achieves an identification accuracy of up to 0.5 mm and can recognize over 200 object categories and 30 human body postures in real time. The microphone array supports far-field voice recognition at distances of up to 5 meters, with noise reduction capabilities reaching 30 dB. A tactile skin covering 20% of the body’s surface provides pressure sensing accuracy of 0.1 N. Multi-sensor information fusion technology enables the robot to achieve centimeter-level positioning accuracy in complex environments, with an obstacle detection rate of 99.5%.

Scene-adaptive capability

It comes with a built-in library of four scenario modes—industrial, commercial, home, and research—allowing users to switch work states with a single click. The industrial version features enhanced load-bearing capacity (8 kg per arm) and improved dust- and water-resistant performance (IP54). The service version optimizes voice interaction and emotion recognition algorithms. The research version provides open underlying control interfaces, supporting ROS2 and custom development. The AI learning engine can record user habits and adapt to the working environment within seven days. By leveraging software configuration on the same hardware platform, different functions can be realized, increasing device utilization by 300% and shortening the customer’s return-on-investment cycle to just 14 months.

Emotionally Engaging Human-Computer Interaction

Equipped with a high-resolution facial display and 21 facial muscle actuation units, it can produce 58 subtle facial expressions. The voice interaction system supports 12 languages including Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with an emotion recognition accuracy rate of 92%. It can detect users’ emotional states and adjust its response strategies accordingly. The body language engine translates textual content into coordinated movements of the head and arms, enhancing the naturalness of communication. A specially designed emotion feedback algorithm ensures that the robot maintains consistent personality throughout prolonged interactions, increasing user acceptance by 65% compared to traditional service robots. It is particularly well-suited for emotionally intensive scenarios such as education, elderly care, and reception services.

Modular Expansion Architecture

Adopting a design philosophy of “core torso + replaceable components,” the torso integrates essential systems such as the main controller, power supply, and communication modules, while the limbs, sensors, and end-effectors can all be quickly swapped out. Standard interfaces support plug-and-play compatibility with 128 different peripherals, including specialized tools like surgical instrument hands, calligraphy pens, and massage heads. An open API provides over 2,000 function-call interfaces, supporting multiple development languages including Python, C++, and Java. The educational edition comes equipped with a visual programming interface, enabling primary and secondary school students to complete simple task programming in just 15 minutes—significantly lowering the technical barrier and accelerating the practical implementation of industrial applications.

Secure collaboration assurance

Through a six-layer safety assurance system—including real-time joint torque monitoring (accuracy ±0.05 Nm), collision detection response (5 ms), an emergency braking system, a flexible housing design, an electronic fence for the working area, and a remote monitoring platform—this product complies with the ISO 10218 and ISO/TS 15066 standards for human-robot collaboration. The contact force is adjustable within a range of 30–80 N. The battery system uses military-grade lithium iron phosphate cells, featuring fourfold protection against overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit, and high temperature, enabling up to 8 hours of continuous operation without requiring recharging. The entire product series has obtained CE, UL, and CR certifications and has been safely operating for over 1 million hours in more than 300 schools, hospitals, and enterprises across China, with zero recorded serious safety incidents.
